So remember when someone hacked into Redi Tlhabi’s Twitter account in September last year?

Well, it seems like the scammer wasn’t satisfied just hacking one celeb, they wanted to wreak havoc on SA celebs' Twitter accounts.

It looks as if the scammer’s modus operandi was to hack into one personality’s account and use it get the log in details of other personalities.

Famed musician, Thandiswa Mazwai almost fell victim to this hackers tactics.

She has now released screenshots of the messages she received from Redi’s account when it was hacked.

The hacker sent Thandiswa a direct message, posing as Redi, and told her that she had a big announcement to make.

The person claimed that the news was so big it couldn’t come from Redi herself but had to come from another big personality.

He/she then asked Thandiswa for her log in details so that the announcement could be made from her page.

Luckily, our girl Thandiswa is woke and didn’t fall for the trick.

She jokingly asked the sender to prove that these messages were not coming from a computer bot, saying: “How much sex does it take for lesbians to make a baby?”

The scammer then came clean and said that she (posing as Redi) wanted to announce that she is having a baby to which Thandiswa responded by saying that Redi already has a child so this is not “big news”.
