South African actress, Makgotso Monyemokathoe, better known as Makgotso M recently turned 27-years-old.
And to celebrate, the popular actress turned a Joburg night club upside down.
Makgotso and her besties went to Sumo night club in Sandton, Joburg where they celebrated her coming of age with cake, champagne and of course, some sparkles.
Among her close circle of friends was actress and Massiv Metro host, Mbali Nkosi.
The actress looked radiant in a little white dress with gold detailing.
“I really had such an amazing birthday! I was smiling from ear to ear the whole night. And to all my family and friends for coming through, you guys made my night,” she said.
The rising star is known for playing roles such as Kamogelo Tsotetsi on SABC 3’s Isidingo, and Onika on SABC 2’s Muvhango.
She shot to fame in 2016 when she played Thishiwe on Mzansi Magic’s Is’thunzi, a misunderstood creative spirit, who terrifies the community because of the darkness that happened to her family.
Makgotso holds a BA Joint Honors Degree in Theatre Studies, Film and Television from Brunel University in London, UK.
