NASTY C knows his target market.
On Friday, the award-winning rapper will perform for his young fans at Wave House in Umhlanga’s Gateway Mall in Durban North.
The one-man show is part of Nasty C’s nationwide Ivyson Tour, which started in Cape Town in August.
His manager Ayanda Ngcobo told SunBuzz the aim of the show is to entertain young fans who don’t often get a chance to see the rapper on stage.
“Nasty C loves his fans so much that when he is on stage he gives his all,” said Ayanda.
“According to our research, many young people would love to watch him perform live, but they are being restricted by age.
“We also discovered that most of the people who buy Nasty C’s music are high school teenagers, so we decide to come up with this tour for the youth.”
Ayanda said even though the show is meant for the youth, people of all ages are also welcome.
Skhulile Nzuza, a spokesman for Nasty C’s Mabala Noise record label, said: “The show is meant to help the rapper interact with his fans.
“He will get up close and personal with his fans.
“So far, tickets are selling like hot cakes. This proves that Nasty C is one of the most loved rappers in the country.”
He said tickets are available at Webtickets at R150 for general and R250 for golden circle.
