The local entertainment industry, fans of music and the country at large are still reeling at the loss of iconic musician, Linda ‘ProKid’ Mkhize.

The 37-year-old musician died on Wednesday evening, reportedly due to a seizure.

Since then, social media has been inundated with tributes from all corners of the country.

A number of people, including fellow musician, AKA, have made a plea to the Minsters of Arts and Culture, Nathi Mthethwa to motion for a provincial funeral for the late star.

Details of the memorial service and funeral are yet to be released.
