Fans of real good, feel good music are in for a super treat in March when Grammy Award winning California-based quartet, All-4-One, and several of South Africa’s best loved artists collaborate for an outstanding show at Carnival City’s Big Top Arena.
The show, Music Alla Kaap is produced and conceptualised by veteran entertainer and producer, Alistair Izobell.
His popular Music Alla Kaap concert series is now in its sixth year and is venturing to Gauteng for the first time in 2019.
Also in the star-studded line-up for the show at the Big Top Arena are Alistair Izobell himself, Emo Adams, Sasha-Lee Davids, Niesa Abrahams and some other aspiring artists. All of the performers will be backed by the very best South African musicians in a hand-picked ten-piece band.
All-4-One celebrates their 25th anniversary this year and continues to tour as the original members, (Tony Borowiak, Delious Kennedy, Alfred Nevarez and Jamie Jones). They will be performing the newly recorded track, “Africa Arise” for the very first time with the very talented home-grown star, Sasha-Lee Davids. This moving song is written by Alistair Izobell.All-4-One, the absolute highlight of the show, is known for their beautiful, timeless love songs and topping radio charts around the world for years.
Get ready to bask in nostalgia as they perform the likes of “I Swear”, “I Can Love You Like That”, “So Much in Love”, “I Turn to You”, “These Arms”, “Beautiful as You” and many more. Undeniably one of their best received singles, “I Swear” claimed the Billboard Hot 100 number one spot for 11 consecutive weeks, whilst sales sky rocketed to hold the number one selling single status in 1994 and third most successful single of the rock era.
The song still holds a spot on the Billboard’s “Hot 100”as one of the most successful singles of all time and has been named by ASCAP as one of the greatest love songs of the 20th Century. “I Swear” is recorded in history with an imprint in the Guinness’s World Book of records (as the biggest selling single of 1994).
