Mzansi comedian, actor and vlogger Moshe Ndiki left a lot of people, mostly Xhosa men, fuming on Twitter when he posted throwback pictures of himself when he was in initiation school.

Some people on Twitter felt Ndiki’s post was disrespectful to the Xhosa culture in that it revealed sacred traditional practices which are supposed to be exclusive to the group involved.
It's always ok to see people having fun at all times. I don't expect anything from anyone, except for all real Xhosa men abahlonipha amasiko wabo who won't accept what @MosheNdiki did just bcoz it's Him a Celeb. Linyala eli kwaXhosa ayizujika qha! pic.twitter.com/v5oZrn5TbL

The issue at hand is respecting cultural diversity,Moshe shld b sensitive and considerate abt Xhosa culture that he is hell bent to mock in order to trend on Twitter. If ppl r offended 4 any reasons they shld b respected and the offender should desist from causing more harm.

I dont understand why u have 2 show off with Xhosa's Culture if they wanted it 2 be known. they wouldn't have went 2 mountain. pls lets respect our culture ... let our secret be secret not a joke to others ...

I mean you are a public figure, young boys who haven't gone through initiation will think this is a right thing to do. Come on

This is the same reason controversial film Inxeba: The Wound was met with disapproval from certain groups upon its release.
While many did not appreciate Ndiki’s post, there were those who did not see anything wrong it and instead found it rather amusing.

The 31 year old The Queen Mzansi actor couldn’t care less about the people who took offence from his post.
