MISS Pru’s catchy song is topping the charts on a number of radio stations.

The DJ and producer whose real name is Prudence Sebalo recently released the hit track titled Wena Wedwa.

It is the most requested songs at weddings and parties.

Miss Pru told SunBuzz: “It’s the catchiest song of all time. I decided to release this single before the album.

“It features Busisiwe Twala, who is best known by her stage name, Cici.’’

The 26-year-old from the Vaal gained popularity while working under DJ Zinhle .

“The Wena Wedwa song has become a national anthem. It’s a party song that has taken the local industry by storm.

“The response to the song has been overwhelming.

“It has a Nigerian Afrobeat which adds a lovely element.”

Miss Pru released her debut single titled Welele three years ago.

It also marked her first stint as a producer.

She later surprised her fans with the hip-hop smash hit Ameni featuring Sjava, Emtee, Saude, Fifi Cooper, A-Reece and B3nchMarQ.

The song found its way to the top and has nearly two million YouTube views.

The Sama award winner has proved herself a force to be reckoned with in the industry.

“My hard work pushed me to become the best female DJ in Mzansi.

“Now I want to conquer the continent and the world,’’ she added.

Miss Pru has travelled across the country and has performed in Lesotho, Botswana, Namibia, Swaziland and the United States.

The house DJ has worked hard to make a name for herself.

“My love of music led me to teach more than 50 young girls how to deejay using vinyls.

“I also work hard to give my fans what they want.”
