April marks radio reshuffle season, and this weekend we saw plenty of our favourites come and go.
And as Thando Thabethe said “Today is the last day of radio as we currently know it” she wrote on Friday.
Following that, a slew of changes have been made in the public broadcast.
As usual, Metro FM, being the biggest radio station has made major changes in its line-up.

Among the many that have been replaced, Thembisa Mdoda says goodbye to the weekend breakfast show she hosted along Mo G on Saturdays.
The actress has only been on Metro FM for a year and is one of the unlucky hosts to have their contracts not renewed.

But despite the cut, Mdoda is greatful for the opportunity “My heart. Thank you to every single person who has gone on this journey with me. I have had the time of my life. @mog_moments, I can never thank you enough for all that you are. Thank you @METROFMSA. Thank you to all the listeners…” she wrote.
