Local actor Menzi Ngubane might be known for playing one of the most feared villains in local television in Generations’ Sbusiso Dlomo, but that character has nothing in common with him in real life.

The star currently plays another villain on Mzansi Magic’s Isibaya, Judas Ngwenya.

Contrary to both these characters, Menzi is anything but a villain in real life.

He recently displayed his softer side when he celebrated his 54th birthday at an orphanage.

The star donated groceries to the Ethembeni Children’s Home and spent his day playing with the kids.

“None of them is a mistake,” Ngubane wrote on social media, “I don't know and understand why they got abandoned but what I know for sure is it wasn't their fault, there's nothing wrong with them.

“They're lovely, adorable, they're so special and their future is bright.”
