Bhisho born songstress, Aphelele 'Ma nala' Mnyango is well on her way to making a name for herself.
The 24 year old with the determination to make her mark in the music Industry released her single FOREVER in October last year featuring Gemini Major. Forever is the 3rd single from her and it follows the soulful, Soze.
Apart from being Anatii's sister Ma Nala is paving her own musical journey.
Ma Nala's sound is more alternative to that of his brother with a touch of Indie, Afropop, and futuristic sounds.
Her late father Senzol Mnyango was a radio DJ in the former Ciskei in the ‘80s and ‘90s and he loved playing music in their home.
“I have fond memories of my dad playing a lot of Michael Jackson for us as children.” After high school Ma Nala received her associate of science degree in music from California College of Music. “Studying music helped me to be versatile and be able to sing in any genre and also understand the business of music,” she told Drum.
