He experienced breathing problems and was rushed to hospital where he sadly passed away.

Now, his wife Letshego Zulu is finally ready to move on with her life without her late husband.

She penned a book aptly titled I choose to Live Life After Losing Gugu, which went to print yesterday.

This morning, she took to her Twitter account to share how grateful and at peace she is in her life.

She wrote above the artwork of her new book, which features her, Gugu and their child:

“Woke up this morning with a sense of peace and a feeling of gratitude. We finally went to print yesterday afternoon. Quite an emotional yet cathartic process. To everyone who played a role in this journey, no matter how small or how big, I love you and I thank you”.
