South African internet sensation turned radio and TV personality, LaSizwe Dambuza is no stranger to controversy.

In his fairly young career in the local entertainment scene, the 19 year-old has seen his name make the headline for all the wrong reasons a little too often.

His latest stint on the headlines was as a result of American YouTuber Jay Versace accusing him of being a copycat.

The TouchHD DJ has responded to these claims, saying all he does is take “inspiration” from other people, not copy their work.

"I take inspiration from a lot of people and everyday life,” he told TshisaLIVE, “I use my interactions with them as a way to vlog and entertain.

“In doing my videos, my aim is to entertain and not step on anyone’s toes and hope this will come across in my videos," he said.

Jay Versace is the second person whose ideas LaSizwe has been accused of copying, he has also been accused of copying Earl Hendricks' videos in the past.
