Musician, Busisiwe Twala, also known as Cici, testified against music boss, Arthur Mafokate at the Midrand Magistrate Court yesterday.
Cici told the court about the events that transpired between her and Arthur, her former boss and ex-boyfriend.
According to Cici the drama began when she went to Arthur’s house to end the relationship with him and also pack up her belongings.
eNCA is reporting that Cici told the court that Arthur would not let her go, insisting they talk about the issues they were having.
He then took her phone and got into his car.
This is when she ran after him and grabbed ahold of the driver’s door, but Arthur just started the car drove off while she was holding on to the door, dragging her for about 300 meters.
Cici allegedly broke down in court as she gave her testimony.
Arthur, who has pleaded not guilty, attended the proceedings with a heavy security protection.
Cici opened a case of assault with the intention to cause grievous bodily harm in June of 2017 after the incident landed her in hospital.
The singer has had to undergo pelvic surgery as a result of the altercation.
The matter will continue on the 18th of April when Arthur’s legal team will have the opportunity to cross-examine Cici.
