Sbahle Mpisane relaxes at home after being released from hospital on Friday.

FITNESS bunny Sbahle Mpisane is recovering well at home.

She was released from hospital on Friday after spending more than three months there after a horror car crash.

Although she is currently wheelchair- bound, her family said they hoped she would be able to walk on her own soon.

Sbahle’s father, Sbu Mpisane, said they were happy to have her back home.

“It is a blessing to have her back. She is doing very well. She is positive and we are happy to spend time with her.

“We also thank the people who have been praying for her and us,” said Sbu.

The accident that almost cost Sbahle her life took place on Victoria Embankment, which is now known as Margaret Mncadi Avenue, in Durban on 9 August.

It was reported that after the accident, which involved her blue BMW 4 Series, she was taken to ICU at the hospital.

KZN police spokeswoman Colonel Thembeka Mbhele said they were still investigating the cause of the accident.

Sbahle’s boyfriend, Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune, took to social media to thank those who prayed for her, calling it a day of celebration.
