Uzalo Lockdown actress, Dawn King has opened up about being a sangoma.
Dawn has finally given us a glimpse into a very part private part of her life, describing it as confusing and emotional.
She also said that the calling came at a time when she was least prepared for it.
“That was the most confusing time of my life because of the background I came from, which is Christian. People rushed to me and started praying for me but that didn’t help,” she said.
Dawn says that it was her husband who encouraged her to see a traditional healer, which helped her.
According to Drum magazine, Dawn was pregnant during her training.
She also encouraged people to pursue their own callings because “we are not all called the same, and that has been my path,” she said.
