With rumours of Pearl Thusi having found love again after breaking up with her former fiancé, Robert Marawa swirling all over town, the star has opened up about her love.

According to Pearl she is single and finding it hard to get into any sort of relationship with South African men.

The television and radio personality, actress and model says that she is having a tough time dating and trusting men in South Africa.

Pearl’s career has been on the upward trajectory on the international scene which has allowed her to widen her dating pool.

Rumours of her dating an NBA player have also been going around for some time now but she is yet to confirm the relationship.

In fact, according to Pearl, she has been single for eight months.

The Catching Feelings star recently opened up about single life on Touch HD.

She said that she has a particular challenge dating in Mzansi because of her fame.

“I’ve been single for eight months. The truth is, I struggle to get into a relationship in South Africa because I’m afraid of why somebody will be getting in a relationship with me or why I’m getting into a relationship with them. I can’t even play with someone because, for me, it’s like, who are they gonna tell, am I a trophy, and there are all these other things I need to think of,” she said.

Pearl says she is now looking outside of Mzansi for love.

“I’m still optimistic but I’ve decided to open up the borders and keep my mind open and keep my relationship opportunities quite democratic in terms of race. One thing I’ve learned is, if I’m not a hundred percent, I can’t expect to be completed by somebody else, I want for us to create fireworks as two complete people who are going to make the world a better place,” Pearl shared.
