METRO FM host Criselda is excited that the things she talks about on her radio show will now be seen on TV.
The show went from being called Sexual Health Matters
to The Criselda Dudumashe Show on channel ED.
She told SunBuzz she is excited about the growth of the show as it has gone beyond sexual issues to general health and
welfare.
“What’s incredible about the show is the growth of Criselda the brand. It’s a live show and people think it’s easy because I
already do live
radio, but it’s not. There is no room for fluff. I learn as I grow and I have to
think on the spot.
“I need to make sure that the experts invited on the show stay focused and I have to put them at ease all the time but I
enjoy that,” she said.
Asked how different the TV show is from the radio show, she said it’s similar.
“It’s just that some people relate better to issues when they see a person. It’s one thing to have a guest on radio talking
about overcoming obstacles, but not being able to put a face to the story makes it difficult for some people to connect,”
she said.
Criselda said there have also been some new elements added to the show.
“We go out and talk to people and get their opinions on issues that
are affecting them,” she said.
Criselda is also currently doing her final year of studies in communication sciences.
“I’m so glad that I’m almost finished with my studies after I dropped my Food Science degree. It didn’t make any sense to
me anymore,” she
said.
