The 23rd SAMA Awards Nominees were announced last night at Destiny Exclusive Hotel in Kempton Park, Ekurhuleni were we saw Nasty C leading the pack with 6 nominations.

This led to many people questioning the SAMA 23 General Rules because of Nasty C's  two videos 'Don’t Do It' and 'Good Girls' running for Best Music Video of the Year.

Some reports claim that the songs fall outside SAMA 23 General Rules and apparently ‘All music videos submitted for the 23rd Annual SA Music Awards in the category “Best Music Video of the Year” must have been played by a television broadcaster in South Africa during the period 1 st December 2015 to 31 st January 2017‘
