Connie Ferguson has finally weighed in on the feud currently ongoing between Ferguson Films and veteran actress Mara Louw.

Mara Louw recently told Sunday Sun that she had declined a contract and would be leaving Mzansi Magic’s Telenovela The Queen because she feels she has been treted like “trash”

However, Connie dispelled those allegations when she told Trending SA that Mara should come come up with a better excuse because they treated her with the most respect out of all their cast members.

“She would have to do better than just say she was treated like 'trash'. As with all our cast members, we have been nothing but respectful, especially to her."

The 48 year old said she can do nothing but pray for Mara “I pray mama Mara finds peace in her spirit and that is really all I can do for her “, she said.

Connie said she was raised better than to be arguing with her elders and it is not the way she handles matter in any case.

"She is an elderly woman. With the way I was raised, it makes me extremely uncomfortable engaging with her on a mud-slinging level. It's not my style”, she added
