Local rapper Emtee has left a lot of people worried about his well being after he collapsed during a performance this weekend.

In a video that has since made the rounds on social media, the Roll Up hit-maker can be seen falling flat on his back while he was on stage, leaving the crowd of fans gasping in astonishment.

Another video also trending on social media shows Emtee, real name Mthembeni Ndevu being escourted away after the incident.

The rapper, who also trended for all the wrong reasons last year when he flashed his 4-5 on social media, has again drawn widespread concern after the latest incident.

While it is not clear what caused his collapse, those close to the rapper have leaped to his defence on social media  dispelling all allegations that it could be substance related.

Saudi, his label mate tweeted: “Have Y'all thought that Emtee is an artist and spends days on the street without resting? Hustling for his family to eat and entertain Y'all? He's human too, his body gets tired at times especially at such a busy weekend for artists, stop jumping into conclusion.”
