Award-winning singer and songwriter, Chris Brown has been set free after being held on charges related to an alleged rape in Paris, France.
Chris and his bodyguard were held on suspicion of rape after a 24-year-old woman claimed to have been sexually assaulted by the singer, the bodyguard and a friend of theirs on the 15th and 16th of this month.
She claimed that the alleged assault took place at the luxurious Mandarin Oriental hotel in Paris.
The 29-year-old RnB singer has now been released by French authorities with no charges having been laid against him.
He is now free to return home but the French authorities did say that investigations into the matter will still continue.

“The investigations, which are not closed at this stage, will continue under the authority of the Paris prosecutor's office,” they told TMZ.
Chris took to his social media to refute the claims, saying “this b***h lying”.
“I WANNA MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR...... THIS IS FALSE AND A WHOLE LOT OF CAP! NNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEERRRRRR! FOR MY DAUGHTER AND MY FAMILY THIS IS SO DISPRESPECTFUL AND IS AGAINST MY CHARACTER AND MORALS,” he claimed.
