SINGER and performer Chomee, known for her popular songs and bubbly personality, is in mourning.
Her father Bheki Ncube died in hospital on Sunday evening.
Chomee, who recently returned to Mzansi after visiting Mauritius, would have had much to celebrate.
But the shattered and sad star couldn’t hold back her tears when she spoke to Daily Sun.
“He was sick and had been admitted to hospital,” she said.
“But on Friday nurses called my brother and told us he was to be discharged on Sunday as he was recovering and ready to go home.”
It came as a shock that a person who was scheduled to be discharged died on the same day.
Asked if she was coping, she said: “I’m grateful that people around me have been supportive.”
Funeral arrangements will be announced later this week.
