It is going to be an evening full of love and joy during this years’ Valentine’s DAY.
American R&B and Soul sensation Carl Thomas will grace the South African music scenes next month.
The singer is well-known for his smooth sound and hits such as I Wish, Emotional and Summer Rain just to name a few.
Thomas has thrived in the music space and entertained audiences across the globe for almost two decades.
Mzansi fans will have the chance to watch the 46-year-old perform live at the Evening of Love event that will be held at the Sun Arena, Time Square in Tshwane on 14 February.
The exciting line-up includes local acts Ntsika from The Soil, Vusi Nova, Afro Soul trio 047 among other local musicians.
Speaking to SunBuzz, event organiser Delphine Klassen said: “We are also running competitions for the show for up-and-coming musicians to keep people on their feet and wide awake while other musicians prepare themselves for the big show.
“We want people to come and share their love with us.”
She added that the event aims to bring together a diversified audience, which represents all the lovers in the world.
She added: “We are happy we are on our 10th year this year.
“It all started at Baseline in Newtown in 2008.”
Delphine is happy with the progress and she is proud of the end results.
Delphine said their goal is to make The Evening of Love into an ongoing event which hosts world class Entertainment for the coming years.
“We want to celebrate love with our people.
“People must come enjoy our warm hospitality and it will spectacular evening of music,” she said.
