Superstar rapper Cassper Nyovest has taken aim at South African Airways (SAA) - calling them a “Sh** Airline.”
This is after the rapper, on another one of his overseas trips, was told his flight to Frankfurt, Germany would leave the next day due to "technical issues".
Cassper, whose real name is Refiloe Phoolo, was not happy with the inconvenience and took to social media to vent his frustrations.
“SAA is a Sh** Airline,” the rapper tweeted, “after 4 hours of waiting to take off, we are told to go home cause we’re flying tomorrow morning nje fela yalo? (Just like that?).”
Thando Thabethe, who was also on the same flight to Germany, was not impressed either.
The two local Ciroc ambassadors were headed to Milan, Italy to do their duties for the brand.
“We have been traveling for two entire days instead of 11 hours because of SAA," she tweeted, "missed our connection to Italy and subsequently missed days off our work trip! Very disappointing and frustrating!"
The Airline replied on Twitter, saying after an investigation, they have realised that the pair were actually supposed to fly with another Airline and not them.
This led to Cassper posting receipts hat proved that it was indeed an SAA flight.
The embarrassed airline then apologised for the inconvenience and offered Cassper a 25% discount on his next flight with them.
This is not the first time a rapper has slammed SAA on Twitter.
AKA recently called out the airline for having a playlist that does not consist of 100% South African music.
