WHILE some of us would jump at an offer of a whopping R300 000, hip hop star Cassper Nyovest claims to have once declined the same  amount, because "money doesn't solve everything".

This he revealed in a conversation he was having with one of his fans on Twitter.

The Monate Mpolaye hit maker said he declined the money, because he values relationships more.

"I declined 300k in the beginning  of my career cause i believed i could make more on my own and own my music. At that time, 300 k was like a million rand to me but i knew my worth and how far i wanted to go. I always had the right mindset, " he tweeted.

According to the star this was because he sees value in things that don't have money attached to them.

He wrote :"Yall think money solves everything. Y'all fail to see value in things that don't have money attached to them so all miss some of the lessons  that you need to become great. That Dinner with Jay Z can turn into so much more than 100k. I'm a hustler, i know relationships are important."
