Superstar rapper Cassper Nyovest is set to release his fourth studio album titled Sweet and Short on 1 December.

On the same day, the Gets Getsa 2.0 hit-maker will also be attempting to fill up the 85 000 capacity Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

Should he manage to fill up the massive stadium, Cassper will reach a major milestone in album sales as he will attain platinum status on the first day of his album release.

“For those that haven’t heard yet! Every ticket bought comes with an album. If we sell out this stadium we Platinum on the first day! For just R100, you get to see a World class concert and you get a brand new Cassper Nyovest album. Ereng value for money mo ngwaneng?” he wrote on social media.

Some fans on social media were not too sure what to make of the concept and claim the rapper is attempting to “buy” the platinum status.

However, others have lauded the star for being a shrewd businessman.

Cassper and his company Family Tree Media, recently signed a partnership deal with Universal Music Group as he looks to reach new levels.

He has also decided to go back to his roots with the sound of his upcoming album, which is Kwaito influenced.

However, he still promised to bring bars.
