Twitter was a war zone on Tuesday with local celebs going at each other on the platform.

Just as the dust was beginning to settle after the Twar between controversial poet Ntsiki Mazwai and social media influencer Mihlali Ndamase, another ensued.

This time, it was between TV personalities Anele Mdoda and Uyanda Mbuli.

The pair had a go at one another after Anele replied to Uyanda’s tweet about mental health, a topic that has been under the spotlight as of late after the death of Motswako rapper HHP who openly spoke about struggling with depression.

Uyanda tweeted how she was part of the Tara Hospital Board that was appointed to educate people about mental health long before it became a “fashionable” topic.

In response to Uyanda’s tweet, Anele wrote: “Babe this is not fair and dangerous, all at once, If you mean well in your quest for mental health, you should want it to be fashionable so we talk about it as much as Gucci mood bags.”

Uyanda did not appreciate the response and she went on the attack.

“That one should tweet about the real reason she was removed from Real Talk with Anele and leave my Gucci bags out of it... I was an Executive at SABC 1 before she even came into the industry so,” she responded.

As the Twar escalated, Anele’s sister Thembisa Mdoda also weighed in calling Uyanda’s tweet Unnecessary.

However, Uyanda was not having it as she continued her war of words with Anele.
