Rapper AKA says he fears for his daughter, Kairo, amid the Dros Rape incident that left a lot of South Africans shocked and disgusted.
This is after 20 year-old Nicholas Ninow allegedly raped a 6-year-old child in a Dros outlet in Tshwane recently.
Ninow appeared at the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court this week facing charges of rape, drug possession and assault GBH.
He has been remanded in custody and will be back in court on 1 November pending investigations and the forensic report.
Ninow, dubbed the Dros Rapist at the time, was the talk of the town on social media as people voiced their disgust at his actions.
AKA joined millions of South Africans in sharing their feelings on social media with regards to the incident.
“As a father, this whole Dros rapist/Nicholas Ninow saga is heart-breaking and scary,” he tweeted, “I fear for my own daughter’s safety and what kind of world she has to grow up in.
“It’s so messed up man. So so messed up.”
