DJ AND music producer Black Coffee shocked his fans on Tuesday when he released the cover of his upcoming fifth album, Pieces of Me.

It looked almost exactly like the front of American singer Ledisi’s album, also called Pieces of Me!

Black Coffee released the photo on his Facebook account. He wrote that he was going to get in trouble for leaking it, but he felt the moment deserved it.

Black Coffee, who has just finished his first major international tour, said the album was the product of this journey.

He said it was important to mention that his music wasn’t just for any race or group of people, but was created for everyone to listen to at any time, on any day and for any occasion.

Ledisi and Black Coffee are with the same distributor, Universal Music.

Amaru Da Costa of Soulistic Music, Black Coffee’s record label, said they had been made aware of the similarity between the two covers by fans.

“We are addressing this issue at present and would like to thank Black Coffee’s fans for bringing it to our attention,” he said.
