TEMPY Pushas is back for a second season!
And viewers are already in for high quality drama performance, with an improved storyline and cast.
Paballo Moganedi, who plays the psychotic Lerato Bogatsu, said she is to grateful to Bomb Productions.
“I’ve been fortunate enough to have worked with such a great production company from an early age. Since then, they have been supportive of my career and grooming me,” Paballo told SunBuzz.
The 22-year-old from Midrand, in Joburg, told the People’s Paper that she has always been a performer.
She said: “I knew from an early age that I was going to end up in the performing arts and that my big break would come sooner rather than later.”
Although she has played sweet characters, previously, she did acknowledge that the role of Lerato was demanding and stretching her to the limits as an actress.
“It was a demanding stretch, but I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and was happy to have been given a chance to show the audience what I can do and how much more I can offer,” she said.
Paballo candidly said: “I was born for this,” referring to her acting career.
She continued: “My fans can expect to see a lot more of me this year as I’m currently involved with several projects that I can’t share with you right now.”
Since the new season of Tempy Pushas is fairly new, she encouraged viewers to expect a whole lot of madness.
“And a little pain too – because what’s a story without a little drama?” she asked.
She said she is excited about her career journey and for the world to witness her talent.
Paballo has previously appeared on Zone14 and David Kau’s Taxi Ride’s first season.) Paballo Moganedi plays Lerato Bogatsu on Tempy Pushas every Friday on SABC1 at 8.30pm.
