TOP ACTOR Sello Maake ka Ncube has given up on love . . .

His marriage to businesswoman Palesa Mboweni ended eight months after they were traditionally married.

Sunday Sun has learnt that Sello wants to move on, but has a king-sized headache.

His soon-to-be-ex-wife, Palesa, is allegedly refusing to sign divorce papers and his wish to legally end the union has been further delayed.

A friend close to the couple told the People’s Paper: “Palesa has mentioned before that she wants to be Mrs Maake ka Ncube for life and isn’t ready to give up yet.

“She believes they can find a way to make things work.”

The couple went their separate ways when Sello left their home in Pretoria and opted to be on his own.

At the time, Sello alleged his wife needs help.

Sunday Sun also reported that the actor confirmed their separation, citing there’s no home without problems and that they tried counselling but all in vain.

“We’ve been trying to see our bishop for counselling. At this stage it’s not promising,” he had said.

The couple got married during a beautiful traditional ceremony in Kagiso, west of Joburg.

They allegedly then signed in the Magistrate’s Court to make their union official prior to having a white wedding.

But trouble in paradise began before the date for their white wedding was scheduled – and they went their separate ways.

When Sunday Sun contacted Palesa this week she said she’s not prepared to comment on whether Sello served her with divorce papers or not.

She said: “At this moment I’m not ready to talk or say anything concerning my marriage to Sello.

“People can say whatever they want and you can write whatever.”

This week Sello’s phone rang unanswered and he didn’t return our calls and SMSes sent to him at the time of going to print.
