DJ SBU and his fiancee Disebo Makatsa (29) separated earlier this year.

Their separation made headlines and the two share a baby girl together.

In celebville, since their big break-up Disebo has been fingered as the cause of the separation on social media and among the DJ’s friends.

The latest rumour was an allegation of her romantic links to multi-millionaire and Gauteng businessman Edwin Sodi.

Speaking for the first time this week the MBA graduate and media-shy Disebo spoke to the People’s Paper about her stress.

“I’m sick and tired of these false rumours. They must stop. DJ Sbu will always remain my baby daddy. What we had, we had – and it’s over. Our separation has nothing to do with what people are saying. I’ve moved on and at this stage am not going back,” she said.

“I’m not romantically involved with anyone – including Edwin. I’m single and happy. My focus right now is my child and career.

“People judge me for cheating on DJ Sbu and that is not the case. I respect him and we both know the truth.

“There was no man or any person who caused our separation. It was an amicable separation.”

She added: “People must just focus on someone else.”

Disebo hails from Welkom, in the Free State. She’s a geoscientist.

DJ Sbu was not available. His phone rang unanswered.
