And former Miss Teen SA, Celeste Khumalo, knows this too well.
Sources claimed she has welcomed DJ Euphonik with open arms after sexy businesswoman and TV host, Bonang Matheba, decided to dump him.
The 2011 Miss Teen has apparently won the heart of 5FM and club DJ, Euphonik. The two are alleged to be an item after his on-off relationship with Queen B had failed, as well as his “romance” with Jiva Sexy girl, Chomee.
Bonang didn’t waste time after
breaking up with Euphonik and quickly won the heart of the Nigerian superstar, D’Banj.
Sources close to the former couple claimed since their split in December, DJ Euphonik, real name Themba Nkosi, is always in Celeste’s company.
Celeste was recently named the Face of Ponds, and a source close to the situation said these two are more than just good friends.
“They’ve been spotted together often. Two weeks ago, they were at Carnival City at the popular Heavyweight gig, but claimed they’re just good friends. They came together and left together in his Rolls Royce,” said the source.
“They’re actually dating. Themba has been bragging that Celeste’s nothing like his ex – she is actually drama-free,” the source claimed.
Another DJ close to him said the two have been going out on dates, acting like a couple.
The DJ said since his break-up with Bonang, DJ Euphonik has kept a low profile.
“He’s all about work and his family,” said the source, and added DJ Euphonik is not the same without Bonang – but life has to go on.
“You can tell that he actually misses her sometimes but he’s chilled,” said the source.
According to the source, Celeste and DJ Euphonik have known each other for some time.
The source added that DJ Euphonik started showing interest in her after his affair with Bonang ended.
The source claimed Celeste is always bragging to her friends that she’s going out with DJ Euphonik.
“She talks to her close friends about it – especially when we’re chilling and he’s calling her,” said another source.
While DJ Euphonik and Celeste are taking it easy, Bonang and D’Banj have been painting the town red.
On Friday, the Nigerian superstar threw a party at Taboo, in Sandton, Joburg. The new couple was in Mauritius together and showed off with some photos on Instagram.
Yesterday Euphonik refused to comment.
Celeste’s phone was answered by a man who introduced himself as Blessing, who said Celeste won’t talk to the media.
