EAT your heart out, gentlemen!

Former Muvhango actress Tsholofelo Monedi is now a married woman.

She married her boyfriend of three years this weekend amid showers of blessings.

The rain did not stop this actress, who played the role of Meme on the SABC2 soapie, from tying the knot with radio personality and businessman Chris Matshaba.

Daily Sun reported two weeks ago that the couple were about to marry.

The traditional wedding took place at Ramokokastad, outside Mogwase in the North West, on Saturday.

The one-day event started at the bride’s home in Mabopane in Tshwane and thereafter all roads led to the groom’s home in North West. The event was attended by celebrities such as Jerry Phele, who co-stars with Tsholofelo on Squeezas.

Tsholo and Chris wore matching sishweshwe outfits.

Family and friends at the event wished the couple a great future as husband and wife.

Close friends said it was a great decision by the two lovebirds to take the big step.

Motsweding FM presenter Douglas Mosadi advised the newlyweds to be patient as marriage is no child’s play. He said that marriage is a good place to be but it also needs understanding.

Kabelo Mosito, the groom’s friend, said: “Welcome to the club, my friend.

“Marriage is great but you need to put God first because it is not going to be an easy ride.

“There is going to be turbulence. And do not search for greener pastures, but rather create your own.”

Chris owns a public relations company and he used to be a DJ at Motsweding FM.
