HIS colleagues at Kaizer Chiefs will be enjoying their bonuses for winning the PSL title.

But defender Eric Mathoho, better known as “Tower”, will be faced with papgeld blues as he has lost a paternity battle.

Early this year, his long-time girlfriend, Hangwani Muthavhatshindi, claimed she has a baby with the soccer star.

But Tower cried foul and claimed he is not the baby daddy.

He demanded a paternity test and the girlfriend obliged and went ahead with Tower’s request.

Now the paternity results are back and what they reveal left egg on the face of the lanky defender.

Sunday Sun can reveal that Tower is the dad.

The DNA results seen by the People’s Paper revealed that Tower tested 99,9% positive as the father of Hangwani’s baby.

The SunTeam has learnt that Hangwani was accompanied by Tower when she brought the child to conduct the paternity tests.

This week the baby mama said: “When we were there, Eric didn’t even carry our baby, and told me that if the test came out negative, he will take me to the cleaners.

“He even accused me of killing his vibe and spoiling his shine with the claim that he’s the father of our baby.

“All I want from him is to take responsibility and be present in his child’s life.

“I don’t want his money.”

A family member, who didn’t want to be named, said: “We called Eric and told him the outcome of the tests. He blasted me on the phone.

“That boy looks just like Tower. His lips and eyes are identical to Tower’s.

“This baby is certainly his and also looks like him.”

When Sunday Sun contacted Tower for comment, he swore at us, saying: “You sh*t.”

Then he hung up on us.
