FORMER SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago’s farewell party has been postponed to next year.
Limpopo Artists Movement general secretary, Martha Mashilo, said: “We got a new venue, since the SABC denied us their auditorium.
“We are going to have the farewell at the Library Gardens in Polo-kwane.”
This after the SABC refused the organisation to have the farewell held at their Limpopo offices. According to the organisation, the farewell is postponed to 10 January.
The provincial chairperson of the Limpopo Artists Movement, Mphoza Mashabela, said they have invited the Southern African Music Rights Organisation to run artists workshops.
Mphoza said they would also be launching the new logo of the organisation and website.
“We are calling on artists in the province to come in numbers.
“The show will go on even without an SABC venue,” he said.
Sunday Sun reported two weeks that the SABC had rejected their application to use their venue. when they were told that it was for Kganyago’s farewell.
