MATRIC pupils yesterday told Daily Sun they enjoyed History Paper 2.
Pupils at Itumeleng Secondary School in Ledig, outside Rustenburg in North West, said they went in ready for the paper.
Mathapelo Tlou (19) said she was well prepared because history was about general knowledge.
“According to me, the paper was great because of the questions we had already been asked throughout the year.
“I am glad I was able to understand everything and answer the way I was required to,” she said.
Tsholofelo Thibedi (17) agreed with Mathapelo, saying she especially enjoyed essay questions four and five.
“History is one of the subjects I am crazy in love with because it teaches us so much about where we come from. It was easy for me to study it and spend my time on it,” she said.
“I wrote well and had a good time dealing with the questions I chose. History Paper 2 was the bomb.”
Nkosinathi Mkhize (17) from Siyajabula High School in KwaNyuswa, eThekwini, said he was positive he would get good results.
“I am not sure how many marks I will get, but I am positive I will pass,” he said.
Kwazi Ndlela (18) from Inhlakanipho High School in D section of KwaMashu said he also enjoyed the paper.
He said he was well prepared for it as he spent a lot of time studying.
“Out of 150 marks, I will get about 140. I do not regret the time I spent studying,” said Kwazi.
