NATURAL HAIR GRACES CANNES FILM FESTIVAL
afs
African Natural on the Cannes Film Festival Red Carpet  ~

The annual Cannes Film Festival held in France, aims to draw attention to the film industry on an international level.

This festival is one of the most publicised events with such world impact. The Cannes Film Festival Red carpet displays the world's greatest film artists and it is the part of the festival that has the most media coverage.

This Festival has become a popular event for the world to see fashion and beauty at it's best. This year, A few graced the red carpet with their natural which made a huge statement and looked super gorgeous.

In the beauty world, African natural hair has never been recognised as beautiful, glamorous and red carpet worthy, but thanks to the rise of the Natural Hair Movement, we are starting to see more and more black women embrace their natural hair and it's so beautiful to see that happen on an international red carpet event.

The more black women and the world start to embrace African natural hair, it will be a lot more normalized and seen as a beauty standard.

However, Black women today are moving into a mindset of believing that any hairstyle (Straight, Kinky, braids, weave etc) is beautiful and accepted.

The Cannes Film Festival opened a door into embracing African Natural hair on an international red carpet and we hope to see more of it everywhere.
