Have you ever heard of terms such as toner, moisturizer and serums when it comes to the beauty community?

If you’re looking for a good skincare routine look no further, help is here.

I’ve been trying to get into understanding skin care and the importance of it. I also ask a lot of women who have good skin for some advice and majority of them all have a skin care routine.

Now, I’m the girl who just washes her face in the morning when I take a bath or shower and that’s as far as my skin care routine goes.

So with a bit of some research I have found these simple steps to help develop a skincare routine.

In an article by Dermstore.com, Dr. Heather Rogers says that it is important to apply your skin care products in the proper order to make sure your skin gets all the full benefits of each product.

Here is a step by step guide as to what product to use and at which step.

Step 1: Cleanser

First splash your face with water making sure it’s damp before applying any product. Gently wash your face with a face cleanser that id for your skin type.

Step 2: Toner

Toner helps restore the skin’s pH after it has become too basic from harsh soaps. Dap some of the toner liquid onto a cotton wool pad/ball and wipe all over your face and neck.

Step 3: Antioxidant Serum

A serum is a lightweight moisturizers that penetrates deeply into the skin to make your skin smoother, firmer and make pores smaller. Applying onto your face and neck.

Step 4: Eye Cream

It’s extremely vital to apply an eye cream. Eye creams help maintain the health and thickness of the eyelid skin. For best results, Consistence is key. Over time this cream will help keep the eyelid skin elastic and can improve or prevent against fine lines.

Step 5: Spot Treatment

If you have acne or a few or one spot or zit this is the time to apply that treatment onto the affect area. However if you do not have spots, you can leave out this step.

Step 6: Moisturizer

Moisturizer helps give your skin more hydration after damage from the sun and the harsh elements and some chemicals. Apply evenly on face and neck.

Step 7: Sunscreen

Sunscreen helps protect your skin from the sun and UV rays that damage skin. Some moisturizers have sunscreen in them but for extra protection, apply sunscreen evenly on face and neck.

It is important to note that with skin care it’s all about trial and error just like hair. Do research and try find the best products for your skin.
