MZANSI has recorded 194 more Covid-19 deaths, taking the number of deaths to 50 271.
Health Minister Zweli Mkhize said the Covid-19 deaths were reported in the following provinces: Eastern Cape 8, Free State 29, Gauteng 43, KwaZulu Natal 80, Limpopo 15, Northern Cape 7, and the Western Cape 12 bringing the total number of deaths to 50271.
A total of 23 753 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, with 856 new cases, which represents a 4% positivity rate, the recoveries now stand at 1 433 320, representing a recovery rate of 94,6%.
