Entertainer, Zodwa Wabantu will be launching Zodwa Beauty Collection soon.

Zodwa told Daily Sun that she has been thinking of this idea for some time now. "The idea came soon after I released my perfume, Touchable Day and Touchable Night. I decided I want to go all out and supply beauty products too. For now, we're working on a lipstick and petroleum jelly."

Zodwa said the products are still being manufactured.

"They are still being manufactured in China. They will be shipped here soon. But I'll also be adding more products. Soon, there'll be a mascara, blush, body shimmering lotion and normal body lotion, basically everything for skin and beauty," said Zodwa.

When asked why she started doing working on the beauty products now, she said: "All my ways of making income are currently stuck because of the lockdown. So I decided to start working on these products because people in China are already working. So at least I can be productive and not just sit and wait."

Zodwa said Zodwa Beauty Collection might be available for sale in South Africa around August and September.
