DANCER and entertainer Zodwa Wabantu has decided to get tested for the coronavirus.
This comes after she announced her aunt had died due to the virus.
“My aunt has passed away. Today you are happy, tomorrow you are sad. Alive today, dead tomorrow. Covid-19 is real,” she wrote.
She took to social media to share a video of herself undergoing the test.
In the video, a doctor wearing PPE inserts a long swab into the star’s nose to take a sample.
“Leader of the people, I’m for you. I do everything for you, just learn from me,” she captioned the video.
The test was done at Medi-clinic Mbombela.

According to Medi-clinic, the test costs about R2 500 and the turnaround time for results is six hours.
The controversial media personality that is shooting the second season of her tongue wagging reality show has also shared her results and she does not have the virus.
"Got the results, they are negative, but I might get it tomorrow," she wrote.
Shortly after sharing that she got tested, many applauded Zodwa.
Gugu Zulu said: “I’m also going tomorrow to get tested. It’s good to know so that we can protect ourselves and those that we love.”
Roseline Montwendi said: “You are very brave Zodwa. Thank you for showing us and encouraging us to make better decisions.”
Mashu Muzani said even though Zodwa had just lost her aunt, her positivity and approach towards the situation was very inspiring.
“Zodwa you’re one different lady. You’re full of surprises, I like you. Your approach towards situations is very inspiring.”
Many asked her whether it was painful or not, as the long swab goes deep into your nose.
