Dumisani and Daughter Doja Cat
Popular American singer Doja Cat, whose real name is Amala Zandile Dlamini, shocked many South Africans when they found out that she was actually the daughter of South African actor Dumisani Dlamini who used to play the character Chester in YizoYizo.
Dlamini told TshisaLive in an interview that during the American tour in the 90s he fell in love with a Jewish-American woman called Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer. He said they shared two daughters, one of them being Doja Cat.
In this interview below, Doja Cat explains that she has never met her dad but he does comment on her posts on Instagram.
“He's always commenting (on my IG)."
