Latoya Makhene, who is famously known as Tshidi Phakade on the hit soapie Generations –the legacy is reported to be leaving the soapie as of June 2019.
The new mother who has been on the soapie since its reboot has now called it quits and it is a result of micro management issues.
The media personality handed her resignation letter two month ago and executive producer Mfundi Mvundla confirmed the report saying "She left out of her own will because she wants to pursue her music career. We didn't fight. She said she might come back in the future”
Letoya rose to fame through recognition for her role in popular South African soapies, Isidingo and Generations, and took time off in 2003 in order to go to an initiation school for traditional healers.
