New amapiano show, Yanos Roundtable, is about to hit screens on MTV Base.
In this spinoff of Hottest MCs, a panel of the industry’s finest will join host Tshego Koke in deciding which amapiano hit was last year’s hottest.
The panel includes DJ and internet sensation Uncle Waffles, artist manager and businessman Benzo, film director Thando Mokoena, podcaster and creative Blvck Steph and viral star Umbali Wethu.
Together they will judge according to who broke through, got streamed and made Mzansi go wild.
It will air on Thursday and Friday 27 and 28 January on MTV Base (DStv channel 322) at 5.30pm.
Announcing the show, MTV said the two-part special show will reveal who the best amapiano stars are.
Speaking about the show, Tshego said he was excited.
