HACKERS are giving Mzansi celebrities a hard time.

Actress Nompilo Maphumulo, who plays Nosipho on SABC1’s popular soapie Uzalo, has revealed that her Instagram account has been hacked.

The talented actress has since opened a new account and warned people not to follow her old account anymore.

“My old Instagram account was hacked, and I have decided to open a new account. Please share this video to make everyone aware so that they do not follow the old account,” she said.

Uzalo has also warned fans who follow the actress on social media that from now on, they should follow her on her new account.

“Good day fam, after being hacked, Nompilo has opened a new account. Please follow her on the new account,” the TV show said on its Instagram account.

The actress is not the first to fall victim to such.

Media personality Pearl Modiadie also lost her Twitter account last year which almost had two million followers.

Another media personality who is being bothered by a hacker is reality TV star Thato “TT” Mbha, whose account for his makeover show Mzansi Cribs, has been hacked several times and he has since decided to let the account go.
