To celebrate the 2 000th episode, SABC1 shared bloopers.

Twitter user Chef Charlotte said: “Congratulations on your continued hard work. It couldn’t have been easy but still you managed to entertain us on a weekly basis for so many years.”

Gaopalelwe Santswere congratulated the cast and crew but asked them to bring back Leshole and Wallet, played by Thabo Mkhabela and Molefi Monaisa.

Skeem Saam publicist Sumaya Mogola said they were grateful to their fans for supporting them.

“Since its first episode 10 years ago, Skeem Saam has featured a number of educational stories and relatable cast members. It has since won the hearts of millions of viewers. Viewers that we are thankful for, for getting us this far. It hasn’t always been easy, but we have cast and crew members that are dedicated and passionate and the end product is always worth the ups and downs.

“No one knows what the future holds, but we intend to keep telling our stories as we always did. We also hope that our audience shows us the same love as they did this past 2 000 episodes. Here’s to another 2 000,” said Sumaya.
