Mahuma Paul Rapetsoa better known as Bra Paul has passed away
Well-known playwright and actor, Mahuma Paul “Bra Paul” Rapetsoa has died.
His passing was announced by his son, Matome Rapetsoa on Facebook on Tuesday night.
“It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our father, brother and colleague, Mr Mahuma Paul Rapetsoa. ‘Bra Paul’ passed away today at 18h56, May your wonderful soul Rest in Peace Mokwena,” wrote Matome.
He did not mention the cause of death.

This morning, messages of condolences were pouring on social media, people remembering the legend.
Bra Paul is famous for starring and producing Sepedi dramas on Thobela FM. He also headed the drama department for the station over the past years.
The actor was also recently on SABC 1’s Skeem Saam as Malome Josias.
Both Thobela FM and Skeem Saam paid tribute to the legend on social media.
They wrote: “We approach the end of 2020 with heavy hearts! Rest In Peace Bra Paul, you will forever be remembered and sorely missed. We keep his family in our prayers!”
