I have observed with keen interest and disappointment the latest trend where musicians collaborate to produce songs but end up fighting over them.
There was a feud recently involving Makhadzi and King Monada over a song titled Ghanama.
It got very ugly on social media as both publicly laid claim to the song, with each giving a different account of what transpired with the song rights.
Without dwelling much on the details of the spat, what happened was rather unfortunate.
Artists must sign a contract agreement prior to the recording of a song to avoid the possibility of fights.
