S3 will go down memory lane on Sunday, 25 July to honour the late jazz singer Tsepo Tshola.

The SABC channel has announced a special rebroadcast of Tsepo Tshola’s interview with Dali Tambo on People of the SouthMzansi and the whole globe continues to mourn the passing of the jazz legend.

The channel further said during the rebroadcast of the interview viewers will be captivated as Tsepo shares his musical journey while giving us a glimpse of his family life.

Tsepo, best known for being part of popular music band Sankomota, died on Thursday, 15 July due to Covid-19 complications.

Family spokeswoman Lintle Lerotholi told Daily Sun the family is trying to remain strong as Tsepo’s passing has cut them deep.

“It is a heavy road ahead of us, but we are strengthened by the support that we have received, from the public, his colleagues and the government. We are thankful for the support and the messages of condolences, it is really comforting to learn about the impact that Tsepo has played in people’s lives,” she said.

The late music iconic will be buried on Friday, 30 July in Lesotho. He has been granted a state funeral by the Lesotho government.
